This mini metal lathe is constructed from high-quality HT200 cast iron, ensuring superior strength, stability, and long-lasting performance. The infinitely variable speed control ranges from 50 to 2500 RPM, allowing smooth forward and reverse operation at any speed, with both manual and automatic feed adjustment. For safety, an emergency stop button is conveniently accessible. Equipped with a 3-jaw chuck and a 1.5" (38 mm) spindle bore, the lathe securely clamps materials, while the backsplash guard keeps metal shavings contained. With an 8.3" swing over bed and 28.3" swing over cross slide, it offers versatility for internal, face, and bevel cutting, aided by a turret post for quick tool changes and a center rest for stable holding. The MT3 tailstock spindle can be easily locked or advanced using the lever and handwheel, with adjustable set screws to offset for cutting tapers precisely.
